Michael Ezzell was born in Harlingen, Texas. At age 12, he moved to California where he was introduced to the local surf and art scene.
After studying ceramics at University, Michael traveled abroad to expand his skillsets. He started at Yacht Pottery in Denmark, renowned for their handcrafted stoneware and porcelain. After honing his craft, he accepted a teaching position at David Greene Pottery in England. After teaching for a number of years, he came back to Laguna Beach to establish his ceramic and Fine Art studio.
